When stress accumulates, the system can get stuck in survival responses: fight, flight, or freeze. This can manifest as anxiety, restlessness, emotional overwhelm, numbness, fatigue, inflammation, digestive issues, or physical tension.
You may notice the same familiair patterns repeating, like overthinking, emotional reactions, or behaviors that no longer align with who you are. You understand them. You’ve worked on them. And yet, they continue to surface.
This isn’t a lack of effort or awareness. Often, these patterns goes further than the mind alone. Our body is keeping score of our experiences and our nervous system replays our survival responses automatically. That’s why somatic embodiment is key in creating lasting transformation.

Hello, I'm Choi!
Returning to a state of love and joy
My body had been knocking for years, but I was too busy surviving to hear it. From the outside, my life looked accomplished, following everything I had been taught about what success looks like. I didn’t realise how much I was living on autopilot until my body started speaking louder through chronic tension, fatigue and the same emotional patterns repeating again and again. While those around me celebrated my achievements, I felt disconnected.
Letting go wasn’t easy. I had spent over a decade building a life that I once desired. Yet, deep down, I knew it was time to move on.
Walking away took courage - the courage to finally listen to my body. My body was craving safety, freedom, and space to simply be. So I left. I traveled, immersed myself in different cultures and healing modalities, and began learning to regulate my nervous system that had been stuck in survival mode for years.
Through somatic therapy, my body began releasing layers of stored tension and trauma. I realized that healing doesn’t come from constantly trying to fix myself or retelling the same old stories. True shifts happened when I attuned to my bodily sensations and guided my nervous system back into safety and resilience, creating space for long-held energies to release. It was then that I experienced lasting, embodied transformation.
Today, as a Somatic Experiencing® Practitioner, I guide others in somatic therapy and nervous system regulation. I’ve shared this work in 1:1 sessions and group retreats across Europe and Asia, integrating somatic practices with yoga, meditation, reiki, sound healing, innerdance, ecstatic dance, and ice baths.
The most fulfilling part of my work is witnessing clients naturally return to a state of love, joy, and connection - remembering who they truly are.
